Two-Step Verification

Your account security is very important to us. Two-step verification helps us take extra measures to protect your account information.

When you try to access the (Your Name's) Account page, we'll ask you to enter a random code that we send you. This code is called a one-time password (OTP), and it's different than your account password. You can receive the OTP via text message, voice call, or authenticator app. It expires after 10 minutes. After that, you'll need to request a new OTP.

If you choose to get the OTP via text message or voice call, we'll use the phone number from the Amazon customer account you used to set up your KDP account. This may be different than the phone number you added to your MOD account.
